WHAT AFTER 12TH ? Let's Take A CHANCE!
LET'S TAKE A CHANCE!
That phase of life, when you've finally got over your school life and are going to start a new chapter of life. The biggest question in front of most of the millennial will be: WHAT'S NEXT? What are you gonna do in your life? You'll have thousands of expectations and millions of suggestions from everyone. You'll be surrounded by chaos of people's desires where you'll find your voice suppressed somehow. There will be a hallmark of success already set for you where below that you'll be counted as a normal mediocre earning & struggling for survival. You'll be surrounded by a wall of certain fields beyond which a healthy world doesn't exist as per our society's norms.OK! Many more problems are there, but what is the solution to them? How to conquer your own desires?
By taking a chance of course, I guess!
Chance! Is it this much easy as it looks while saying? Oh of course not! You're going to break a so-called rule man. It will be very idiotic of you to think that people will pat your back and say Bravo! Oh c'mon! They will look at you in such a nasty way making you feel the most displeasing person on earth. But don't be much bothered about that. That will be somewhere the first step towards your dream, learning to face people.
There are two kind of students, one who are clear about their dreams & career but are unable to pursue it because of family's or society's pressure or stuffs like that & other category is a bunch of unsure people who don't know what to do about with their life or which way to go for a better future. Let's talk about the latter one first:-
If you don't have a dream of your own and are feeling hopeless & confused about what to do; Then do one thing, make a list of things you're good at. It can be anything, like seriously anything; your hobbies or subjects you're good at. Then filter out, which you're best at. Search all the details about that or those fields, as much as you can like further scopes in that field, how to get there, salary package(mind it, in long term it's a really important thing to look on), find out good colleges( if the course is some sort of career oriented course, then better find a college with a good placement wing, not compulsory though). When you get satisfied with all these info. then talk to your parents over this, make them understand your point of views, produce to them what info you've gathered, satisfy and convince them & there you go. If your parents don't agree to your point, we'll talk how to tackle it after sometime. But before that, even after all these searching and all, if you're still blank and not getting what to do then go straight to your parents & seek their help because there's no bigger well wisher of yours than your parents. They will only think the best for you. Ya, may be their thinking won't match with yours or may be their decisions can be wrong, but their intentions are always pure. So, have a conversation with them and try to resolve the differences and create a midway to things.
Now, let's see the former one.
If you have a deep interest or passion for something, there're more likely to be two situations. If it's some sort of conventional job which suits your family's forums, there won't be much rifts to bother about. But if it's something out of the bounds, like some sort of non-conventional field, then I daren't say, you're gonna face a really tough path getting out of all these. So, what to do? First, go thoroughly about your choice; which means:-
- Gather as much information as you can to satisfy maximum queries of your family (though you can't satisfy all of them, the ultimate truth). I warn you, never blurt out your points unprepared in front of your family. So,go through a deep survey about your choice of field like it's possibilities, career scope, salary package and all. And if it's something like singing, dancing or any other art, go find yourself a guru.
- Try convincing your parents about your choices by clearing their insecurities. Tell them about latest happenings. Explain your point if view.
- If they are not agreeing, take a stand for your dreams. Fight for it till you think you're absolutely right. If you even have 1% doubt, go and clear it first.
- Don't accept and get influenced by myths and folks.
I know all this is not a piece of cake but if you really have a dream which is more important to you than anything else then don't be afraid of failures because "Failure teaches the lessons which success can never do". Follow your passion no matter what comes the situations. Challenge your limits. And just mind one thing nothing is impossible if you have the will to do and if it's not impossible it's worth giving a try. And yes, "The path to success never ends as long as you're willing to succeed".
"So have the courage to forget the world for your dreams, one day the world will remember you for your work".
Have Faith, whatever happens, happens for something better! Enjoy your life.
